Great Sign for the Maryland GOP

Congratulations to new Annapolis Mayor Mike Pantelides.  His squeaker of a win is great news for the Maryland GOP.  The party's aggressive get out the vote effort paid off, as Pantelides won with just 50 votes.  His win should also energize a base that has grown discouraged under the Democrats dominance of Maryland politics.  More importantly, his youth should help recruit other young Marylanders to run for office and broaden the base.  Signs of hope for 2014!
